My name is Janice Johnson (“J.J.”).  Welcome to my website. 

  

I am an  experienced  Make-­Up  Artist  with  extensive  credits  in  the Film, Television  and  Print/Fashion Industry. My expertise includes such skills as: Special Effects, Airbrush, Hair Grooming, Beauty and Fashion Make-Up.    

  

Based in Los Angeles, I have traveled and worked extensively throughout the United States and Europe.   

  

A graduate of Studio Make-­Up Academy at Gower Studios in Hollywood, CA, I am a licensed Esthetician and studied Cosmetology at San Diego City College.  

  

I have worked on numerous films, television commercials, infomercials, music videos, national commercial spots, corporate videos, fashion catalogs and magazines. Such clients include: Bank Of America, Blackcard Visa, Microsoft, Boeing, T-­Mobile, Cucina Amore Show, Wayne Dyer Show, Nordstrom, Eddie Bauer, Jantzen, Fred Meyer, Precor, Avia, Yashika, Asahi Beer, and more.    

  

Using a light hand, I pride myself on creating realistic looks in Make-­Up, as well as special effects application. I follow the latest fashion trends, and use only professional, quality brands of make-up specifically designed for each task. I strive to create the best possible look and feel for every job and make sure that every frame counts!!
